New York, New York, known as The Big Apple, is the best cultural city in the world. New York City is home to between seven and eight million people, making it the most populous city in the United States. There are an additional 18 million residing within a 50 mile radius of New York City.

A key component to the strength of New York City is its diversity. It’s educated, worldly, resourceful, and motivated population makes it second to none. As the international capital of the world, 25% of all businesses worldwide have established headquarters in New York City. In addition, New York City serves as the home to the United Nations, representing 185 countries and nearly 100 consulates, making good sense to do business in New York. It is home to the largest number of foreign banks that are responsible for a high employment rate in New York City, as well as a great deal of city taxes.

A walk along Fifth Avenue and 57th Street would demonstrate the economic importance of the foreign retail industry in the city. From Wall Street to the United Nations, the world’s most powerful and influential people have championed success in New York City.

There are so many attractions and things to do in New York City that you could spend a lifetime trying to take in everything.

Familiar landmarks and symbolic attractions include the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Bronx Zoo, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and the Staten Island Ferry.
