Meet The Founder

Clivia BaskinHaving experienced 15 domestic and international moves, Clivia is intimately aware of the joys and challenges of crossing cultural boundaries.

As the daughter of an American military father and a multi-lingual German mother, broad cultural experiences filled her childhood. At various times France, Germany and the United States were all home to her.

Becoming fluent in English, German, French and Spanish were necessary and fun. Clivia attended college in Spain and finished her B.A. degree in Spanish in California.

She has since lived in Brussels, Belgium and in four states - Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York and Texas, which she now calls home.

Her professional relocation career includes, implementing an orientation/Spouse assistance program for the military, Director of Relocation Services -- managing inbound and outbound destination services and Senior Relocation Consultant assisting international transferees and their families coming to the U.S.

Her involvement in cross-cultural training includes coordinator of programs, development of materials, as well as teaching Living & Working in the USA workshops and participating as a country resource for the Living & Working in Germany programs.

Clivia is a member of the Employee Relocation Council (ERC) and active in several chambers as well as international organizations.
