Submitted:   August 2, 1996 Last Updated:   August 2, 1996 Platforms:    Macintosh Synopsis:   When you have DSS Disk Access installed in your Control Strip Modules folder, it will show a list of the disks you have mounted on your computer. Selecting a disk from the menu displayed when clicking on the DSS Disk Access icon will open the window for that disk and bring it to the front.

When you have DSS Disk Access installed in your Control Strip Modules folder, it will show a list of the disks you have mounted on your computer. Selecting a disk from the menu displayed when clicking on the DSS Disk Access icon will open the window for that disk and bring it to the front. By default, DSS Disk Access shows the list of disks in the order which they were mounted with the first one mounted at the top of the list and the last one mounted at the bottom of the list.

However, by choosing the option Sort By Name, it will display the disks in alphabetical order.

Once downloaded, drag the icon for DSS Disk Access and drop it onto the System Folder of your Macintosh’s startup disk and it will install it in the folder Control Strip Modules. in the System Folder.

After that, restart your Macintosh to activate DSS Disk Access.
