DSS Datafork Editor is a customized editor that uses ResEdit to allow you to edit data in a file’s data fork as though it were a resource.

The DSS Datafork Editor replaces the process of constantly opening the data fork of a file, copying its contents into a resource that you create in ResEdit, editing that resource using a customized template, and then saving the contents back into the file. You can view and edit data easily instead of wasting time in just getting the data into ResEdit.

Version 1.2 of this product is available for download as freeware in the StuffIt format and is 89,501 bytes (88 KB) in size. This download includes the product documentation in Adobe Acrobat format. This version works with ResEdit 2.1 and later and Mac OS 6.0 and later. Visit Aladdin Systems’ web site to download the software needed to expand the archive if you don’t have it already.
