Our Privacy Commitment To You
Updated May 15, 2003
At Masterkey Financial Services International, we have always had policies in place to protect the privacy of our visitors and clients. Recently, the Federal government has phased in certain legislation delineating the responsibilities of covered entities, such as insurance companies, their agents and affiliates, and contracted third parties with respect to the handling and protection of information acquired in the process of necessary activities. Since keeping your information secure and private has always been one of our highest priorities, the posting of this notice does not change our policies. It only serves to fulfill the legal requirement of notifying you, in writing, of the policies we have in place. The very nature of our business requires that we collect certain personal data and private health information in order to provide you with access to the broadest range of products and services. Although you have certain legal rights with respect to all information we receive or maintain on you, there is no need for you to do anything to further protect your privacy. We reserve the right to change our privacy practices, as permitted or required by law, at any time in the future. This notice may be copied in whole or in part without restriction.

Collection/Disclosure Of Private Information
We must collect certain information in the performance of our duties to provide you with products and services, determine eligibility for benefits, and evaluate appropriateness of sale. We may use or disclose your health information when required to do so by law. We will not use your personal or health information for marketing communications without your written authorization. We must disclose your information to you. We may disclose your protected health information to members of your family, a friend or other person to the extent necessary to facilitate issue, payment or retention of a policy but only if you agree that we may do so. If you give us an authorization, you may revoke it at any time. For national security purposes, we may disclose to military authorities the health information of armed forces personnel under certain circumstances. We may also disclose certain health, financial or other information to federal officials, for lawful intelligence or counterintelligence activities. Law enforcement or correctional institution personnel may also demand disclosure of private health information under certain circumstances.

Information And Sharing
It must be recognized that in the conduct of normal business, administration, and customer service, information such as social security numbers, motor vehicle records, private health information, and financial data must be collected. The sharing of protected information with government agencies, physicians, health care providers, credit reporting agencies and other entities covered by privacy legislation is limited to a business need-to-know basis.

Protection Of Your Information
To ensure that we keep our pledge to maintain the privacy and security of your personal information, we use manual and electronic security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of the information we collect and to prevent unauthorized access. These procedures include but are not limited to user authentication codes, 128-bit data encryption (as required by HIPAA statute), locked files, and firewall technology.

Access And Questions
You have the right to look at the information we collect and maintain in our files on you with certain limitations. If you have any questions or desire copies of your information, we will make the information available to you as required by law, upon your written request. We may require that you pay a reasonable fee for copies of requested information. We will not be able to provide information collected in connection with, or in anticipation of, any claim or lawsuit. We cannot disclose any medical information obtained from a physician or other health care provider. You may have right of access under law to information directly from the provider. If you have any questions about your right of access or wish to access your information, please contact us at the address below and provide a copy of your personal identification such as a driver's license or photo I.
